New Investigations in Play Static Hysteresis Model for Increased Accuracy and Robustness

This article presents an evolution of the inverse Play model to reconstruct static hysteresis from a flux density waveform input. It is be combined with dynamic and 2-D or 3-D models estimate complete iron loss in electrical machines. In first part article, shows significant improvement original accuracy obtained by modifying characterization measurement methodology, subsequent discretization, identification method. Thereafter, new version model, named “continuous,” introduced, which allowed gain performance at expense greater computation time for process.
